- St. Rose of Lima Parish was established in 1884 in the city of St. Louis, MO. The third church, dedicated on Sept. 18, 1910, was located on the corner of Maple and Goodfellow. Prior to having the church, Jesuits had a mission chapel in the area from 1876 to 1883. In 1897, the Sisters of Loretto began the St. Rose of Lima School, located

Prior to having the church, Jesuits had a mission chapel in the area from 1876 to 1883. In 1897, the Sisters of Loretto began the St. Rose of Lima School, located at Etzel and Goodfellow. St. Rose School closed in 1977. The parish closed in 1992 to merge with Sts. Barbara, Edward, Mark and Notre Dame de Lourdes at the St. Barbara site under the name of St. Augustine.

The first St. Rose of Lima All Class Reunion was held in 1995. It was an exciting 3 day event which commenced with a Friday night reception atop the downtown Marriott Hotel. There was a Saturday Dinner/Dance. We attended Sunday Mass which was followed by a catered picnic at Tower Grove Park. Alumni, Parents, Children, Spouses and Frien
The first St. Rose of Lima All Class Reunion was held in 1995. It was an exciting 3 day event which commenced with a Friday night reception atop the downtown Marriott Hotel. There was a Saturday Dinner/Dance. We attended Sunday Mass which was followed by a catered picnic at Tower Grove Park. Alumni, Parents, Children, Spouses and Friends came from near and far. Attendees included members of classes from the 30s to the 70s . And did we have fun.
The second Reunion, held in 2000, consisted of a Saturday Dinner and Dance. And again, we had a ball.
We last met in 2018 at the Jewel Event Center for Dinner and Dancing. On Sunday, we attended Mass at St. Augustine and then went to brunch in the Central West End. Yes, we had a wonderful time again.

We're going to have as much fun, if not more, than at our previous Reunions. We'll have attendance prizes, other prizes and surprises. We'll remember our departed classmates and family members. - The start of Reunion 2023, "A Night to Remember" will be held on Saturday, Sept. 16th, at the elegant Glen Echo Country Club. We're going to have as much fun, if not more, than at our previous Reunions. We'll have attendance prizes, other prizes and surprises. We'll remember our departed classmates and family members. There'll be a sumptuous dinner. We'll dance to music from all the decades that we attended St. Rose.
- The next day, "Easy...Sunday Morning," we'll attend Mass at St. Augustine and then enjoy brunch at the beautiul City Winery located in City Foundry STL. On top of all that, we'll be together again.
